With the restriction of the exhaust housing the LB7s have, we utilize a high flowing exhaust housing – an RDS exclusive feature. The increased A/R of the exhaust housing has proved to flow more and lower EGTs.

Just received my turbo in the mail. Upon opening the box there was no damage nor were there any components missing. Overall, it looks like a well-built unit. I really like the adjustable waste-gate actuator. My turbo did come with Ryan’s first-gen turbo instructions which threw me off for a sec but Ryan was very quick to respond to my email and clarify my confusion. Looking forward to being a future customer. I will update this review once I have the truck back on the street.

So far so good. Zero complaints. I’ve been looking for a replacement turbo where the original stock turbo on my 02 has almost 300k miles on it; it was time for a new one. After watching a few youtube videos I decided to go with the RDS. The truck seems to run alot smoother under load as well as through out the entire rmp range. I would highly recommend any RDS turbo.
